Jesse and the SHARK! Just before we left our campsite in San Onofre, a family pulled up and became our neighbors for a few days. The dad was leaving for Afghanistan in a few days and wanted to spend time with his wife and kids. He went fishing with his boys in the morning and was kind enough to share the experience with our kids.

Whoa...that would make me NERVOUS! (But totally cool on the little boy scale, for sure...gotta show this picture to Maddie and Declan.)
I believe Jesse saw me first thing that morning and said, "you know what grandpa"? And then proceeded to tell me about leopard sharks! Amazing little guy...
