My Alex

When she smiles I see the incredibly beautiful spirit inside her. Alexandra is sweet as honey when she doesn't have to compete with her brothers for attention. When it's just me and Alex I see glimpses into the future of a beautiful mother/daughter relationship. She is a super learner. I can't believe how fast she catches on. I was going to save the reading thing until kindergarten but she can't wait, she is teaching herself. She loves to sing and sing she does! Kevin and I get a kick out of her vocal talent. She is no longer in any way, shape or form a baby. She is everything that a little girl is... the way she giggles, the way she expresses herself verbally and oh yes, the way she cries. She used to want to be a doctor for little kids and now she wants to be a "horse rider" when she grows up. Thank you Alex for choosing me for a mama, I promise to always hold you in my arms and tell you I love you as long as you let me.
